I was very pleased to open the Exhibition 'Stranger than Truth' in Draiocht last Friday, 2nd May: it is a fantastic exhibition showcasing the work of children from three local schools, Scoil Thomais, Laurel Lodge; St. Mochta's National School, Clonsilla and St. Luke's National School, Mulhuddart.

Congratulations to the children, teachers and artists involved - a great achievement as well for Draiocht

Following the Focus Ireland local election campaign with respect to the homeless, John has pledged to vote against any reduction of services or budget for this matter "until there is demonstrable reduction in the number of people who are homeless". The below badge indicates his pledge has been received and acknowledged by Focus Ireland themselves.

I had a fruitful meeting with the Strawberry Beds Residents' Association on Monday, 28 April. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss issues with development, traffic and rubbish in the Liffey Valley Special Amenity Area.

Subsequent to this meeting, I have been following up with Fingal Council Planning Enforcement and the Operations department. I will be in contact with the Association in due course and will update here when I have news.
